“44 Miles” run raises $2,300

Thank you to everyone who supported Liz Gundlach as she ran 44 miles in 11 hours on Sunday, April 2, in Wapelhorst Park to bring attention to childhood autism! Liz’s “44 Miles for the 44th Child” challenge inspired the community to donate a total of $2,300 for United Services for Children! When Liz started the challenge, the latest statistics indicated one out of every 44 children would be diagnosed with autism. But just before her run, the CDC updated their stats to one in every 36 children. As the stats increase, United Services reaffirms its commitment to helping children with autism and other developmental disabilities and delays. Though Liz’s run is over, you can still support the work of United Services! Just follow the link below!
