The Fly Me to the Moon gala took place Aug. 27, 2022, at Ameristar-St. Charles. The 38th annual gala netted $150,000 in proceeds to benefit United Services for Children. It was a spectacular evening! Special thanks to our musical guest Moon Valjean with Mark Joseph Roth, emcees Jack Borgmeyer and Patrick McCurren, honorary gala co-chairs Jim and Laura Didion and Gary and Joyce Shaw, Champions for Children Award winners GM Wentzville Assembly and Boeing Employees Community Fund, all the volunteers who helped put on the event, and our many generous sponsors! Without them, this vital fundraising event would not be possible. Held every August, the annual gala is the agency’s largest fundraising event. The proceeds help United Services provide early intervention and therapy programs for young children with developmental disabilities and delays throughout the year.
