Ten Steps for Effective Advocacy

Want to feel confident and empowered when advocating for your child or yourself?  This session breaks down advocacy into ten simple, actionable steps. Learn how to communicate effectively, understand your rights, and work with decision-makers to creative positive change. Walk away with practical tools to navigate school meetings and beyond.

Presenter: Many Nolan is a dedicated Community Liaison at Family Advocacy and Community Training (FACT), where she specializes in strengthening family-school partnerships through advocacy and education. She is a SEAT Certified Educational Advocate, has been a foster parent for many years, and is the parent of two children, both with developmental and mental health diagnoses.

 

Navigating the Journey: A Parent-Led Workshop on Raising Children with ADHD and Autism
