A new group for parents of children age 18-36 months who have limited expressive language skills. Encouraging Early Language is a parent and child group led by skilled speech-language pathologists (SLP). The group focus is teaching the parents skills and strategies they can use to encourage their children’s language growth throughout daily activities. Each session will include time for SLP-led instruction and hands-on practice of the strategies with coaching from the SLPs. The group runs for 10 weeks.
