The sixth annual Exploring the Spectrum autism conference will provide useful information to help parents and families of people with autism.

The event will take place Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Spencer Road Library in St. Peters. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Admission is free.

Our featured speaker is Dr. Stephen Kanne, executive director of the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. We will also have a panel discussion with parents and young adults with autism.

In addition to our guest speakers, Exploring the Spectrum will include two breakout periods. Therapists from United Services for Children will present workshops on topics designed to assist families of children with autism.

Autism service providers, advocates and healthcare organizations will have information tables with representatives to speak with the public, providing an invaluable resource for helpful contacts and autism information.

The 2018 Exploring the Spectrum is made possible in part through a generous contribution by Crider Health Center.

Keep in mind the earlier date this year, March 24! Don’t miss it!
