Sign up now to enroll your children in our Fall Groups! United Services for Children offers group therapy sessions in a fun, camp-style format. The sessions incorporate occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and aqua therapy. The groups are tailored for different ages, ranging 2 years through 16 years old.
Sessions run Nov. 4 through Dec. 13, 2019.
Cost per group is $150 unless otherwise noted. All groups except Sensational Swim Club are held at United Services for Children in St. Peters.

Sensational Swim Club
Children engage in the water with their caregiver during the group session led by an Occupational Therapist. Peer interaction, safety awareness, strength, body awareness, motor planning and water tolerance/exploration are important components of each group. Children and caregivers are instructed through fun activities and games that are designed to build upon developing skills and carry over outside of the group.
Ages 3—6 4:30—5:15 p.m. Thursday (at Renaud Spirit Center in O’Fallon)
Handwriting Group: Writing Builders
Designed for children who have been exposed to writing manuscript letters and numbers but may be struggling with letter formation, quality, spacing, or speed. The Handwriting Without Tears approach is used along with sensory integration principles to focus on postural skills, fine and visual motor skill development.
Ages: 6—8 4:15—5 p.m. Thursday
Vocabulary Camp
Intensive language program focused on increasing vocabulary and word knowledge for children who need extra practice understanding and naming words. Thirty theme-based words are targeted through fun and engaging activities. Led by speech pathologists, the theme for this session is animals.
Ages 3–5 3–4 p.m. Tuesday
Monkeys in Motion
Theme-based activities facilitate the development of age appropriate gross and sensory motor skills. Principles of sensory motor integration, Brain Gym® and Power Kids target coordination, strengthening and motor planning to build the foundation for higher level motor skills and postural stability.
Ages 3–5 3–3:45 p.m. Tuesday
BabyWorks
A class for 4-16 month old infants/toddlers and their caregivers with activities designed to target sensory motor, communication and social development. Most appropriate for children who may be at risk for autism. Typical developmental skills are reviewed and enhanced with ideas for carryover to home. This group is FREE of charge.
