A generous friend of the agency is donating a locally raised, natural-fed hog. You can buy chances to win the meat from this hog, which will be butchered by Amish processors in Bowling Green, Missouri. Raffle tickets are $25 each. Proceeds from this raffle will benefit The Endowment for United Services.
Three lucky winners will be drawn and notified on October 24. First place winner will receive 1/2 the hog. Second and third place winners will each get 1/4 of the hog.
The pork will be packaged, frozen and ready to fill your freezer at the end of October. The meat will be divided into chops, steaks, bacon, pork roast and sausage.
Winners will need to pick up the frozen meat from St. Peters, Missouri. All distribution will be coordinated through United Services for Children.
