The Vision
For more than 50 years, United Services for Children has welcomed children of every ability into a community where they belong. Each year, more than 400 children receive speech, occupational, and behavioral therapy, early intervention and developmental therapy, and family navigation support. Families come to us from across the St. Louis metroplitan area because what happens here works.
We are now building something new. A permanent therapeutic indoor play environment, designed by our licensed therapy team for the children and families we serve, and our greater community. This space will be the first of its kind in the region. Every element, from the sensory features to the safety flooring to the lighting and acoustics, has been designed around the principles of sensory integration, motor development, and inclusive play. It is a joyful place built on therapeutic infrastructure.
Working name: the Inclusion Gallery. The final name will be determined as part of this campaign, in recognition of the donor or family whose lead investment makes the project possible.
