Today’s Topic starts Oct. 30

Join us for child-focused discussion every month

Our Today’s Topic series was so well received earlier this year, we are starting a new session of monthly parenting discussions with our experienced staff.

Each meeting provides time to learn new information, share thoughts with other parents of young children, and ask questions.

Many parents completed our recent survey to help with the selection of topics for upcoming sessions.  In response to the survey, the following topics will be offered:

October 30 and 31:  Communication
Our speech pathologists will review the developmental sequence of acquiring
communication. They will share ideas to help with communication at home.

December 18 and 19:  Sensory Processing
Our occupational therapists will explain and share strategies related to sensory        integration.

February 19 and 20:  Behavior
Our behavior analysts will discuss methods of understanding children’s behavior        and techniques to address common issues.

April 16 and 17:  Parenting
Our licensed clinical social worker will highlight positive parenting interventions        that are grounded in the Love and Logic model.

We meet 9:30–10:30 a.m. in our conference room.
We would love for you and any other family members to come to the discussion!
